create method

Future<Operation> create(
  1. Dataset request,
  2. String parent, {
  3. String? datasetId,
  4. String? $fields,
})

Creates a new health dataset.

Results are returned through the Operation interface which returns either an Operation.response which contains a Dataset or Operation.error. The metadata field type is OperationMetadata.

request - The metadata request object.

Request parameters:

parent - Required. The name of the project where the server creates the dataset. For example, projects/{project_id}/locations/{location_id}. Value must have pattern ^projects/\[^/\]+/locations/\[^/\]+$.

datasetId - Required. The ID of the dataset that is being created. The string must match the following regex: [\p{L}\p{N}_\-\.]{1,256}.

$fields - Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.

Completes with a Operation.

Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.

If the used http.Client completes with an error when making a REST call, this method will complete with the same error.

Implementation

async.Future<Operation> create(
  Dataset request,
  core.String parent, {
  core.String? datasetId,
  core.String? $fields,
}) async {
  final body_ = convert.json.encode(request);
  final queryParams_ = <core.String, core.List<core.String>>{
    if (datasetId != null) 'datasetId': [datasetId],
    if ($fields != null) 'fields': [$fields],
  };

  final url_ = 'v1/' + core.Uri.encodeFull('$parent') + '/datasets';

  final response_ = await _requester.request(
    url_,
    'POST',
    body: body_,
    queryParams: queryParams_,
  );
  return Operation.fromJson(response_ as core.Map<core.String, core.dynamic>);
}
