create method

Future<SendAs> create(
  1. SendAs request,
  2. String userId, {
  3. String? $fields,
})

Creates a custom "from" send-as alias.

If an SMTP MSA is specified, Gmail will attempt to connect to the SMTP service to validate the configuration before creating the alias. If ownership verification is required for the alias, a message will be sent to the email address and the resource's verification status will be set to pending; otherwise, the resource will be created with verification status set to accepted. If a signature is provided, Gmail will sanitize the HTML before saving it with the alias. This method is only available to service account clients that have been delegated domain-wide authority.

request - The metadata request object.

Request parameters:

userId - User's email address. The special value "me" can be used to indicate the authenticated user.

$fields - Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.

Completes with a SendAs.

Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.

If the used http.Client completes with an error when making a REST call, this method will complete with the same error.

Implementation

async.Future<SendAs> create(
  SendAs request,
  core.String userId, {
  core.String? $fields,
}) async {
  final body_ = convert.json.encode(request);
  final queryParams_ = <core.String, core.List<core.String>>{
    if ($fields != null) 'fields': [$fields],
  };

  final url_ = 'gmail/v1/users/' +
      commons.escapeVariable('$userId') +
      '/settings/sendAs';

  final response_ = await _requester.request(
    url_,
    'POST',
    body: body_,
    queryParams: queryParams_,
  );
  return SendAs.fromJson(response_ as core.Map<core.String, core.dynamic>);
}
