update method

Future<AutoscalingPolicy> update(
  1. AutoscalingPolicy request,
  2. String name, {
  3. String? $fields,
})

Updates (replaces) autoscaling policy.Disabled check for update_mask, because all updates will be full replacements.

request - The metadata request object.

Request parameters:

name - Output only. The "resource name" of the autoscaling policy, as described in https://cloud.google.com/apis/design/resource_names. For projects.regions.autoscalingPolicies, the resource name of the policy has the following format: projects/{project_id}/regions/{region}/autoscalingPolicies/{policy_id} For projects.locations.autoscalingPolicies, the resource name of the policy has the following format: projects/{project_id}/locations/{location}/autoscalingPolicies/{policy_id} Value must have pattern ^projects/\[^/\]+/locations/\[^/\]+/autoscalingPolicies/\[^/\]+$.

$fields - Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.

Completes with a AutoscalingPolicy.

Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.

If the used http.Client completes with an error when making a REST call, this method will complete with the same error.

Implementation

async.Future<AutoscalingPolicy> update(
  AutoscalingPolicy request,
  core.String name, {
  core.String? $fields,
}) async {
  final body_ = convert.json.encode(request);
  final queryParams_ = <core.String, core.List<core.String>>{
    if ($fields != null) 'fields': [$fields],
  };

  final url_ = 'v1/' + core.Uri.encodeFull('$name');

  final response_ = await _requester.request(
    url_,
    'PUT',
    body: body_,
    queryParams: queryParams_,
  );
  return AutoscalingPolicy.fromJson(
      response_ as core.Map<core.String, core.dynamic>);
}
