Get a content resource.

Request parameters:

name - Required. The resource name of the content: projects/{project_id}/locations/{location_id}/lakes/{lake_id}/content/{content_id} Value must have pattern ^projects/\[^/\]+/locations/\[^/\]+/lakes/\[^/\]+/content/.*$.

view - Optional. Specify content view to make a partial request. Possible string values are:

  • "CONTENT_VIEW_UNSPECIFIED" : Content view not specified. Defaults to BASIC. The API will default to the BASIC view.
  • "BASIC" : Will not return the data_text field.
  • "FULL" : Returns the complete proto.

$fields - Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.

Completes with a GoogleCloudDataplexV1Content.

Completes with a commons.ApiRequestError if the API endpoint returned an error.

If the used http.Client completes with an error when making a REST call, this method will complete with the same error.
